Windyfest is a new take on an old classic. In 2014, the Windom Park Carnival committee decided to evolve the previously kid-centered event into a family-friendly, neighborhood summer festival that could help raise money for the Neighborhood Board. From local food vendors and a bier garten featuring beer from a neighborhood brewery, to live music, local artists, and kids games, the festival featured a range of activities that kids and adults alike could enjoy. We wanted the brand to feel fun, approachable, and summery while maintaining a level of professionalism that would help instill confidence in our event sponsors. Windyfest was largely successful in its first year, and the committee hopes to continue the festival for years to come.
